The University of Bristol MScR in Global Environmental Challenges brings together exceptional students with a common mission – protecting the planet and securing our future. Whether you’re a scientist, historian or an artist, we believe that complex global challenges require integrated solutions - and people with the skills to work across boundaries.

This unique postgraduate programme is a one-year research project (two-years part-time) supported by an expert supervisor, allowing you to gain in depth knowledge of your chosen subject and demonstrate independent research skills. You will be assessed with a thesis and a viva examination. A MScR has no formal taught component, but you will have the option to attend regular events designed to enhance your personal and professional development.
