A practical-heavy day of training focused on best practice when using endoscopes to survey trees for bats. This course is complementary to our Surveying Trees for Bats course. It contains a recap of best practice followed by 3 supervised practical sessions throughout the day designed to develop your skills and enable you to use an endoscope safely and appropriately to undertake tree surveys for bats.

This course is designed to train anyone involved in bat work, who wants to be trained to a professional standard; whether you're working towards your level two bat license, or you just want to improve your practical skills. Some prior knowledge of bat ecology and survey experience is required.

About Bat Conservation Trust

The Bat Conservation Trust is the leading non-governmental organisation in the United Kingdom solely devoted to the conservation of bats and the landscapes on which they rely. To achieve our vision of a world rich in wildlife where bats and people thrive together, our work focuses on discovering more about bats and how they use the landscape, taking action to protect bats and enhance the landscapes on which they rely, inspiring people about bats and their environment, engaging them in their conservation and strengthen our work by building skills, resources, motivation and understanding.
