In conjunction with Owen Beckett from the National Biodiversity Data Centre (NBDC), the BSBI's Botanical Skills Northern Ireland Project is running a training event on plant-pollinator relationships of wetland habitats at Peatlands Park on Tuesday 2 June 2026.

The morning will consist of an indoor session discussing plant-pollinator relationships, the diversity of plants and insect pollinators that you can expect to find in wetland habitats like Peatlands Park. The rest of the day will be field-based at Peatlands Park aimed at studying plant-pollinator relationships in the field.

About Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland (BSBI)

The BSBI is for everyone who cares about the wild plants of Britain and Ireland. Since 1836, we've been promoting the study, understanding and enjoyment of British and Irish botany. We support all botanists - beginner or expert, amateur or professional - as they identify, record and map what grows where: our data and knowledge underpin evidence-based conservation of the British and Irish flora.
