Event: Bramble Identification for Beginners
Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland (BSBI)
BSBI's Botanical Skills Northern Ireland Project is holding an in-person training session on Bramble Identification for Beginners on Saturday 20 June.
There will be an indoor session in the morning focusing on the characteristics of brambles, and how to identify them. The afternoon will be field-based as we search for brambles within the woodlands, and practice identification and recording.
About Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland (BSBI)
The BSBI is for everyone who cares about the wild plants of Britain and Ireland. Since 1836, we've been promoting the study, understanding and enjoyment of British and Irish botany.
We support all botanists - beginner or expert, amateur or professional - as they identify, record and map what grows where: our data and knowledge underpin evidence-based conservation of the British and Irish flora.
