Event: Wales Bat Workers Day
Bat Conservation Trust
The Annual Wales Bat Workers Day is for anyone with an interest in bats! It's a great opportunity to meet others involved in bat work, both professional and voluntary. It’s also a chance to develop knowledge and skills that support bat conservation.
This year it will take place at Mercure Cardiff as well as online via Zoom.
The talks programme will include:

- Learn how to use the new Bat Tree Habitat Key app and submit your tree survey records - Jess Dikken and Sonia Reveley
- Thermal imaging drones for bat surveys - Jess Dangerfield and Hal Starkey
- Barbastelle Ecology and Conservation - Vincent Wildlife Trust
- Thermal Vision for Ecologists - Andrew Milner, Thermal Vision Ecology
- Bats, human health and biosecurity: Effective disease risk management - Allyson Walsh
