Working for Cromarty Firth Watershed Environmental Trust

The overarching vision of CFWET is to restore habitats, biodiversity, and ecological function in the watershed of the Cromarty Firth, from the heights above Kinlochewe in the West, to the Soutars at Cromarty in the East.

This vision will be achieved by establishing a collaborative programme of terrestrial and aquatic ecological restoration, carbon sequestration and river stewardship, to enhance biodiversity, habitat quality and resilience to climate change, save the Atlantic salmon from extinction and bring multiple socio-economic benefits to catchment communities and beyond.
