The estate at Lowther encompasses many thousands of hectares of woodland, lowland, wetland and upland. It sits at the northern edge of the Lake District National Park, a few miles southwest of Penrith in north Cumbria.

At the heart of Lowther sits Lowther Castle – a thriving visitor attraction and the base of Lowther Conservation operations.
