Working for The Landworkers' Alliance

The Landworkers’ Alliance (LWA) is a member-led organisation representing land-based workers across the UK. We are a grassroots alliance of people with a common interest and purpose, bringing together landworkers with a commitment to advancing agroecology and food sovereignty. We are committed to democratic ways of working, in which members do not simply receive services, but are actively involved in shaping the politics and work of the organisation.

We work to improve the livelihoods of our members and to build a better food, farming, forestry and land-use system for everyone, which is rooted in agroecology and food sovereignty.

We have a vision for a future where we all have a relationship with the land and with the ecological and social systems that sustain us.
