Field Technician/Surveyor

Fluid Environmental Consulting was set up in 2010 to provide specialist hydrogeological services to the mining industry and hydrological, hydrogeological and geological advice to the renewables and infrastructure sectors in the UK. We have gradually grown our team and developed established links with a number of leading associates to offer a broader suite of professional services directly linked to the water and soil environment. Our services include water resource, water quality, peat, peat slide risk, groundwater dependent terrestrial ecosystem, environmental impact, carbon and geotechnical assessments.

This is a great opportunity for self-employed people looking for outdoor work. The job involves conducting environmental surveys across Scotland. It also requires staying in self-catering accommodation near project sites, mostly on a Monday-to-Friday basis.

Environmental and outdoor backgrounds are welcome. A clean UK driving licence is essential.

Work is available immediately. Starting rate £17.50 per hour.
