Conservation & Wildlife

We are looking for a Senior Nature Recovery Officer to help us to continue to develop and deliver our Nature Recovery Strategy across Leicestershire and Rutland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new team of nature conservation professionals driving nature’s recovery within the counties. Reporting to our Head of Nature Recovery, you will be a key member of the team helping to coordinate and deliver a wide range of bold and ambitious nature recovery projects within the region.

This is a new post and will assist with the development and delivery of our Nature Recovery Strategy; working with authorities, land managers, statutory bodies and partners to enable nature to recover and thrive. You will be working to support and influence partners and stakeholders, developing and delivering new initiatives, making the case for action and building support for wildlife, and collecting the evidence to show the changes that are happening.

To be successful you will have significant experience in working to achieve positive outcomes for nature and be passionate about working with landowners and partners to support nature recovery far and wide.

This is a hugely exciting role that is pivotal to our work of protecting and enhancing nature, at scale.

We are an organisation driven by our commitment and passion to deliver positive outcomes for people and wildlife. We would love to hear from you if you share our mission to make a lasting change for nature within Leicestershire and Rutland.

For an informal discussion about this role, please call Ben Devine (Head of Nature Recovery) on Direct Line: 0116 248 7363 or Mobile: 07842311743

We do not accept CVs. Please apply on the application form provided.
