Communications Content Creation Officer
Devon Wildlife Trust
Are you passionate about nature and wildlife? Do you have experience of generating great communications content and the delivery of effective social media campaigns? Do you have the skills and creative flare to help the Trust to reach bigger and wider audiences with great stories about our work? If so, this could be the role for you.
As a leading charity with bold ambitions, we rely on the support of thousands of individuals across Devon to act for nature, to encourage others to do the same, and to care enough to support us financially. There are many stories just waiting to be told about Devon’s wildlife and about our work. The purpose of this role is to capture those stories, to transform them into engaging content, and to use a range of channels to effectively reach new and existing audiences. The Content Creation Officer will join a friendly team of committed communicators and fundraisers and will play a vital role in helping DWT to deliver its ambitious vision for nature’s recovery.
This is a full-time, permanent post based at Cricklepit Mill in Exeter.
Interviews are being held on Tuesday 14 January.
We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and abilities who meet the essential criteria for this role. We are an inclusive organisation that is seeking to involve more diverse audiences in our work.
DWT is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment.

About Devon Wildlife Trust
We have lost incredible amounts of our wildlife. Species which once thrived in Devon have gone; many others which were commonplace are now rare. We need urgent change. It is time to put nature into recovery. We need to restore what has been lost and we need to do this on a grand scale. This means being bold: restoring degraded landscapes and seas, recreating wildlife habitat, reintroducing key species that have become locally extinct and properly protecting what we still have. Everyone can play a role in nature's recovery and this is where our work starts - shoulder to shoulder with all who love Devon and its wildlife.
