Are you passionate about shaping a sustainable future? As a Climate Policy Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting the Climate Change Director to research, develop, and implement vital climate change policies, legislation, and guidance.
Great policy making means understanding the challenges ahead, identifying what needs to change, and helping Ministers and senior officials craft effective, practical solutions. You won’t just advise—you’ll help plan and deliver real change that makes a difference.
In this role, you will:
- Support the preparation and delivery of climate change legislation and guidance to implement the ambitious Climate Change Act 2021
- Contribute to the development and execution of our national Climate Change Action Plans
- Work collaboratively to drive innovative policy solutions that address our climate challenges
