The Woodland Trust is Looking for a Lead Campaigns Manager - Regular Giving Recruitment who will lead the delivery of the Trust’s regular giving recruitment campaign activity, with a focus on growing membership through multi-channel campaigns.

The Role

  • Manage end-to-end campaign implementation across offline and digital platforms, working closely with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Oversee high-volume activity such as inserts and door drops, ensuring accurate data selections, creative sign-off, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance and budgets (£1M+), using insight to inform optimisation and future planning.
  • Integrating regular giving recruitment campaigns into the wider trust marketing and comms plan as part of the annual planning process
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and media partners to drive effective, on-brand campaign delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and innovation, presenting proposals, financial models, and performance updates to influence decision-making.
  • Collaborate with insight and digital teams to test and refine recruitment approaches, ensuring sustainable long-term supporter growth.
  • This is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity within the team.
  • This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required no more than once or twice a month on average.

The Candidate

  • Proven expertise in end-to-end campaign delivery, with a strong track record in supporter acquisition across digital, print, DRTV, and out-of-home channels.
  • Experienced team leader and collaborator, confident in managing people and guiding cross-functional project teams - and working with suppliers and agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in performance evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfortable working in a test-and-learn environment, with the ability to lead on innovation and optimise channel performance.
  • Digitally fluent, with hands-on experience in PPC, Google Grants, social media advertising, analytics, and web optimisation tools.
  • Experience of budget management and control, confident in financial tracking and reporting on expenditure.
