The Ecology Partnership
The Ecology Partnership are currently looking for Field Surveyors for assistance on protected species mitigation work towards the end of the current survey season. The work will include translocation work for reptiles and great crested newts as well as assisting with sensitive site clearance work. Work will involve checking pitfall traps or heat traps for protected species, logging relevant information and then moving them to the designated receptor site out of the proposed works area. There may also be opportunities to assist team members with protected species survey work. Assistance is required throughout the months of September and October on a temporary basis. We would need candidates to undertake work for a minimum of 5 hours a day 5 days a week and may include some day time weekend work. Weekend work would be paid at a higher rate.
Full training will be provided however the ideal candidates would require:
- A full UK drivers licence and own vehicle
- Have a keen interest in wildlife and conservation
- Be IT proficient
- Be a good communicator and a team player
- Would need to be based within the South East, with a particular interest in candidates located in East or West Sussex and Kent.
The Ecology Partnership are a successful independent ecological consultancy with a friendly and supportive team located close to River Mole Local Nature Reserve and Junction 9 of the M25.
