Hours: 22 hours per week

One of two exciting roles, South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) is seeking an experienced professional to work collaboratively co-leading our Youth Engagement work. You will be a passionate advocate for learning outdoors and be innovative in your approach to communicating key National Park messages to a wide audience.

The role includes direct delivery of engaging learning sessions with schools both within their settings and out in the National Park. You will be experienced at bringing learning to life through creating inspiring activities and supporting resources.

You will be experienced in working with young people from a range of backgrounds and ages and will co-lead on the youth engagement programmes of the National Park Authority including Youth Action volunteering, and Youth Voice. There will be occasional evening and weekend working required to deliver an inspiring programme of activities for young people including Dark Night Skies events and conservation sessions.

Strong partnership working is essential, with key responsibilities including supporting the SDNP learning network and facilitating associated grant programmes. You will be a capable project manager, developing and delivering projects and programmes with a range of learning and youth organisations across the region.
