We are a dynamic team working at the science-policy interface to support the restoration of degraded ecosystems, including land, freshwater systems, and the Ocean. Our focus is on generating knowledge, tools and insights to accelerate the speed, quality and scale of ecosystem restoration. Our expertise informs the design and prioritisation of restoration strategies so they deliver lasting ecological and societal benefits.
We also support and contribute to the ambitions of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration which aims to prevent, halt and reverse the degradation of ecosystems.
WCMC is the employer for this role. WCMC works in collaboration with UNEP at UNEP-WCMC and
all work will be delivered under the auspices of UNEP-WCMC.
This is not a United Nations Post. This position is with the charity WCMC, working in
collaboration with UNEP.
