Are you passionate about the outdoors, animals and nature? Can you inspire and demonstrate the benefits of being outdoors to young people and adults? Are you confident and skilled at delivering learning activities? We are looking for an experienced and creative individual to play a key role in developing and delivering Oathall farm’s education work with children and young people.

Fixed term for two years (funding dependent)

Hours per week: Full time 37 hours, Monday to Friday - all year round. Very occasional weekend work may be required. 

Hours of work: Generally based around the school day but you will be expected to run after school farm clubs until around 4:30pm, 3 days a week. 

Grade NJC 6. SCP 9-12

Salary Starting salary £27,254

About Oathall Community College

Our farm has evolved over the last 70 years and it is now made up of extensive fields, animal enclosures, a large barn and glasshouses to grow seasonal plants. The farm is a fantastic facility which enhances student learning at Oathall in many different ways. We are able to offer recognised vocational qualifications in this field but many different subject areas use it in a practical way to aid learning including art, maths, English, science and even ICT.
