Salary: £26,500 full-time (35 hours a week) fixed-term contract for 3 years.

5 days a week, flexible to include a regular weekend day.

This post will engage with a wider range of diverse audiences than ever before, developing partnerships, building trust, and co-creating innovative events and activities that use external activity providers as well as in-house skills. Your role involves working with our audience to understand the types of events and activities that will appeal to them, showing creativity and flair in delivery and planning the logistics. Our target communities are LGBTQ+, Welsh speakers and those living with disabilities and their carers. As Welsh speakers are one of our target audiences, you will need to be able to communicate well in English and in Welsh. The programme will cover some week-days, weekends and bank holidays and offer a variety of activities focused on wildlife, arts and wellbeing.

The Welsh Wildlife Centre (WWC) at Teifi Marshes is an award-winning building that has been welcoming visitors to the Teifi Marshes nature reserve to learn about and enjoy wildlife since 1994. We have recently secured significant grants from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund to improve accessibility and inclusivity.

We are committed to putting equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of The Wildlife Trusts, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy of wildlife in their daily lives.

We can accept job applications in Welsh. The interview will include an assessment of your Welsh-speaking skills.

As a Disability Confident Committed employer, we are committed to offering an interview to anyone with a disability that meets all the essential criteria for the post. Please let us know if you require any adjustments to make our recruitment process more accessible.

Deadline: Friday 24th October 2024

Interviews: Thursday 6th November 2025

Invitations to interview will be sent to shortlisted applicants by Thursday 30th October.
