About the role

Circular Communities Scotland is a network membership organisation, dedicated to supporting the establishment of a thriving circular economy in Scotland. We support and represent repair, reuse and recycling charities and social enterprises across the country. Our members prevent valuable products and materials from entering landfill, create local jobs, economic opportunities, and help promote and create social and environmental justice in their communities.

The Circular Communities Scotland Finance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the finances of the organisation as well as supporting the smooth running of the office environment and ensuring compliance with legal and governance requirements.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a strong candidate who has an excellent track record supporting organisational finance operations and management. Financial Operations includes a wide range of tasks including processing payroll, account payable and receivable, aged debt management, bank reconciliations and HMRC reporting and VAT returns. Financial Management tasks include setting the annual budget, quarterly reporting to funders and provision of monthly management accounts. We use QuickBooks for accounting and payroll.
