Project Officer: Gwneud Traciau

We are seeking a Project Officer for the Gwneud Traciau Project, which aims to restore habitats, improve access and connectivity and engage communities surrounding the Porthllwyd Memorial Gardens, Dolgarrog. This role combines nature reserve officer responsibilities with community engagement.

Working with Dolgarrog Community Council, Natural Resources Wales, RWE and the local community, the Gwneud Traciau Project aims to create a healthy, interconnected landscape between Coed Dolgarrog National Nature Reserve & Porthllwyd Memorial Gardens, that enhances biodiversity and engages the local community. 

This role combines nature reserve officer responsibilities with community engagement, working to establish and enhance sites for biodiversity and improving walking trails.

You will have experience of wildlife conservation practices including volunteer management, as well as community engagement and event planning. You will be a great communicator with a personable style and tactful manner who can work with diverse communities on a variety of activities.

You will enjoy working outdoors including practical work and you will enjoy solving problems. This is a new role that will evolve following your appointment so you should be excited about the flexibility of the role and opportunities to adopt an innovative approach.
