Natural Capital Sales Co-ordinator

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Co-ordinator to support our growing Natural Capital team. This role will focus on the sale of biodiversity units generated from our portfolio of over 35 habitat banks across England, supporting developers in meeting their Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key part in identifying biodiversity unit sale opportunities and classifying incoming enquiries, building strong relationships with developers and their consultants.
This role requires a motivated, results-driven individual capable of determining complex purchaser requirements to identify viable solutions for the provision of off-site biodiversity enhancement.
The Sales Co-ordinator will ensure timely responses to enquiries and record data systematically, as well as providing our landowning clients with regular sales progress updates.

What you’ll be doing:
Sales
- Manage the biodiversity enquiries inbox
- Liaise with prospective purchasers to understand their needs
- Prepare effective content to support sales (quotes and sale agreements)
- Help refine internal processes to enhance customer and client experience
Communication
- Actively identify and leverage high-potential leads, following up regularly by phone and email
- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with developers and their advisors
- Provide our clients with regular sales progress updates
Technical
- Ensuring the biodiversity metric trading rules are followed to identify suitable solutions
- Maintaining awareness of the biodiversity unit capacities within each of our habitat banks
Marketing
- Manage mailing lists
- Prepare marketing materials and habitat bank particulars
- Maintain listings on our website and external biodiversity platforms
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of marketing campaigns
- Track marketing activity and competitor insights
Administrative
- Maintain and update internal CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)
- Support job onboarding and order book preparation
About You:
Essential
- Keen interest in the environment and supporting nature restoration
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to review and follow legislation, regulatory requirements, and guidance
- Confident with numbers for quotes and invoicing
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and document accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable
- Experience in the property or development sector
- Understanding of marketing in the property/natural capital space
- Good understanding of the English planning system and developments
- Familiarity with web portals and digital listings
- Experience negotiating deals or managing financial transactions
- Proven track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth
