Project Partnership Officer - Local Nature Partnership

We seek an individual to join us at an exciting time for East Riding of Yorkshire.
As part of the Local Nature Partnership Team, duties include connecting and collaborating with local, regional and national partners for the benefit of Yorkshire's natural environment and playing a critical role in the transition to delivery of the Hull and East Yorkshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
You will use your excellent communication and engagement skills to secure active cross-sector collaboration and work with local partners to expand connections with the community in order to establish the framework for LNRS delivery, developing nature recovery project pipelines and promoting nature recovery to a range of audiences.
As an organised and self-motivated individual, you will use your skills in project management to further opportunities for project development and support bids for external funding.
With a focus on the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Hull and East Yorkshire alongside other Partnership initiatives, you will be flexible in your approach and able to work effectively across multiple workstreams. Your knowledge of the East Riding of Yorkshire landscape, biodiversity and conservation issues will also support you in working alongside the Development Officer to interpret and apply emerging national policies to the local context.

Based at County Hall, Beverley for 37 hours per week as part of a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.
