Project Officer - CRM System Upgrade

The Norfolk Ornithologists' Association (NOA) is seeking a proactive and organised Project Officer to lead a vital upgrade of our membership system. This is a part-time, fixed-term opportunity to make a lasting impact on how we engage with our supporters and manage our data.
What you’ll do:
- Identify and recommend a new membership database platform suitable for a small conservation charity.
- Oversee the secure migration of existing membership data, ensuring GDPR compliance and data integrity.
- Design and implement a streamlined workflow for managing memberships, renewals, payments, and communications.
- Coordinate the project, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience managing projects in the charity or non-profit sector.
- Knowledge of CRM or membership database systems.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of data protection and GDPR.
- Must be based locally or able to take a hands-on approach to project delivery.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with digital transformation or systems implementation.
- Familiarity with bird conservation or environmental charities.
- Skills in training or creating user guides.

Contract:
Part-time, core hours of 15 per week, with flexibility to flex up or down based on project needs . Fixed-term, 6 months.
The NOA reserve the right to extend or make this role permanent without further advertising dependent on business needs at the end of the contract term.

This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship - the successful applicant will need to have a pre-existing Right to Work in the UK in order to be offered an employment contract.
