About Us

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the county’s largest environmental charity, committed to the protection and enhancement of Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places.

About You and the Role

We’re looking for a Wilder Landscapes Adviser to join our Nature Recovery team to work with farmers and landowners to enhance habitats and biodiversity on their land. This involves giving advice, managing projects and some practical delivery of habitat improvement work.

This role will make a significant contribution to the work of the Wilder Landscapes Team advocating for nature recovery & nature-based solutions at a landscape scale. This will be done by influencing land management practice, including advice to land managers, working with farm clusters, developing landscape scale nature recovery projects, and the use of tools such as ELMS & other green finance. It will work to develop effective partnerships supporting the creation of ecological networks to help wildlife in Norfolk adapt to climate change.

This impactful and dynamic role will help scale up our nature recovery work and increase the area of land managed and restored for nature across Norfolk, therefore contributing to the national Wildlife Trusts’ aim of 30% of the UK’s land and sea managed for nature by 2030.

This is an exciting time to join Norfolk Wildlife Trust and this role will have a significant impact in helping to tackle the nature and climate crisis we face today.

This is a full-time permanent role based at our office in Norwich but with flexibility to work from home at times by arrangement. Some travel around Norfolk will be required for which a pool vehicle can be used or expenses claimed in line with our Expenses Policy.

The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 1st December.
Interviews are likely to be on Wednesday 10th December 2025.

About Norfolk Wildlife Trust

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the oldest Wildlife Trust in the country. The purchase of 400 acres of marsh at Cley on the north Norfolk coast in 1926 to be held ‘in perpetuity as a bird breeding sanctuary’ provided a blueprint for nature conservation which has now been replicated across the UK. Our vision for Norfolk: where the future of wildlife is protected and enhanced through sympathetic management and people are connected with and inspired by Norfolk’s wildlife and wild spaces.
