The consultancy delivers bespoke advice and solutions for land management, monitoring and policy for ecosystems, natural capital evaluation, agricultural trials and agricultural supply chains. The company’s satellite data services deliver always-on, accessible open data insights from satellite Earth observations analytics. Our world class team combines expertise in environmental science and data science.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and collaborative Consultant to join our technical delivery team. This is a high-impact role that balances technical expertise in environmental science with Project Management experience.
You will be instrumental in translating geographic and environmental data into compelling, actionable solutions for our clients in the land, environment, and natural resource sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Project manage a range of environmental and natural capital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standard.
- Manage client relationships, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and presenting project results, finding effective ways of communicating results and demonstrating impact.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and oversee project teams, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Contribute to business development.
- Write reports, presentations, visualisations and technical documentation.
Technical Expertise & Analysis
- Degree (or higher) in ecology, environmental science, soil science, environmental data science, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of natural capital concepts and ecosystem service evaluation at the landscape scale and the practical application of spatial data modelling to help solve issues.
- Apply GIS and remote sensing in a data science context to environmental questions.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing environmental or data-driven projects, as such this role is not suitable to recent graduates.
- Work with our data science team on advanced GIS and data science techniques (e.g., spatial analysis, statistical modeling, programming) for environmental data processing, analysis, and visualisation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's technical methodologies and data products.

Salary is competitive on the basis of qualifications and experience, and will form part of a benefits package, including: pension contribution; pro rata 25+ days’ annual leave allowance (plus bank holidays); paid sick leave, death in service benefit.
