Location: Old Ragged School
Department: EMEC Ecology - Land Management Team
Salary: £29,885 - £33,411 pa
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge?

You will be mainly site based, with minimal requirement to come into the office. There will be travel required so a full driving licence is essential.

EMEC is a growing business, with project delivery across the East Midlands and beyond. We have an exciting opportunity for a Land Management Supervisor to join our experienced and friendly Land Management team. You will oversee and supervise the delivery of habitat and site contracts in Nottinghamshire and the wider area. This will include grassland, woodland, scrub and wetland management, survey and monitoring activity and event delivery.

You’ll be someone who wants to make a difference and help nature’s recovery, with experience of planning, supervising and delivering practical conservation and countryside management work. Work will include travel and staying away from home, as well as work on difficult terrain and the use of heavy equipment, e.g. steep slopes and in inclement weather.

Let’s be honest, not all ecological consultancies are the same. We want to do the very best for nature and ALL of our profits are gift-aided to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to support conservation directly on the ground. For more information, the full role profile and to apply please visit our website.

This post is subject to a Basic DBS Check.

We are planning to hold interviews on 21/22 January 2026.

If you have any support requirements to make your application, please notify us at the earliest opportunity so that appropriate reasonable adjustments can be made to our recruitment process.

We are a Disability Confident employer. Applicants with a disability will be guaranteed an interview if they meet the essential criteria for the position.

Employment checks

We are committed to safeguarding our employees; safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk; and mitigating the risk to our business of financial and/or data fraud. Applicants must be willing to undergo pre-employment checks with past employers; Disclosure and Barring Service checks at the eligible level; right to work checks and driving licence checks (where applicable).
