Mae Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri (PAEC) yn amddiffyn harddwch naturiol, bywyd gwyllt a threftadaeth ddiwylliannol Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri. Gan gwmpasu 823 milltir sgwâr, mae'r parc yn gartref i'r mynydd uchaf yng Nghymru, y llyn naturiol mwyaf yng Nghymru, a dros 26,000 o bobl.

Mae Ffermio Bro: Ffermio mewn Tirweddau Dynodedig yn rhaglen newydd i gefnogi gwarchod tirweddau mewn amgylcheddau unigryw a fydd yn cael ei lansio yn ddiweddarach eleni. Mae ein Tirweddau Dynodedig yn lleoedd arbennig ac unigryw y mae angen eu rheoli, eu gwella a'u gwarchod.

Rydym nawr yn chwilio am ddau Ymgynghorydd Ffermio Bro i ymuno â ni ar sail amser llawn a rhan-amser, ar gyfer contractau tymor penodol tan fis Gorffennaf 2028.

Y Rôl

Fel Cynghorydd Ffermio Bro, byddwch yn cydlynu cyflawniad llwyddiannus rhaglen Ffermio Bro, gan weithio gyda ffermwyr lleol a phobl sy'n ymwneud â'r economi leol i gefnogi ein gwaith amddiffyn a rheoli.

Gan ymgysylltu â ffermwyr, byddwch yn cydlynu prosiectau a ariennir sydd wedi'u cynnig gyda ffermwyr ac yn cefnogi blaenoriaethau lleol, adfer natur a bioamrywiaeth. Byddwch yn sicrhau y gall tirfeddianwyr gael mynediad at gyllid, eu bod yn cael eu cefnogi gyda cheisiadau, a bod eu gweithgareddau'n cael eu monitro.

Yn benodol, bydd eich rôl yn cynnwys:

About Us

Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.

Ffermio Bro: Farming in Designated Landscapes is a new programme to support the protection of landscapes in unique environments that will be launched later this year. Our Designated Landscapes are special and unique places that need to be managed, enhanced, and protected.

We are now looking for two Ffermio Bro Advisors to join us on a full-time and part-time basis, for fixed-term contracts until July 2028.

The Role

As a Ffermio Bro Advisor, you will co-ordinate the successful delivery of the Ffermio Bro programme, working with local farmers and people involved in the local economy to support our protection and management work.

Engaging with farmers, you will co-ordinate funded projects that have been proposed with farmers and support local priorities, nature recovery and biodiversity. You will ensure landowners can access funding, are supported with applications, and have their activities monitored.

Specifically, your role will involve:

  • Identifying potential applicants to the programme
  • Providing advice on conservation activities
  • Acting as the key point of contact for the national park, farmers, and government agencies
  • Leading on advice and conservation, and land management and access
  • Signposting applicants to other funding sources
  • Supporting the development of projects

About You

To be considered as a Ffermio Bro Advisor, you will need:

  • Practical conservation experience
  • Experience negotiating and building relationships with farmers and land managers
  • An understanding of current agri-environment schemes in Wales
  • Knowledge of Eryri National Park’s characteristic habitats and species
  • Awareness of issues affecting farmers and rural communities in Wales
  • A degree in environment, ecology, agriculture, or land management, or a relevant land-based qualification with experience
  • A full, valid driving licence
