Environmental Development and Engagement Manager
Manx National Heritage
About the role
Are you passionate about protecting nature and inspiring others to do the same? As Manx National Heritage’s (MNH) Environmental Development and Engagement Manager, you’ll lead conservation programmes across sites such as the Calf of Man Bird Observatory and the Curraghs RAMSAR site, inspire communities through volunteering, education, events, and outreach, and drive key elements of MNH’s Climate Change Strategy through monitoring, reporting, and climate adaptation guidance.
This role gives you the space to use your environmental expertise, communication strengths, and creative ideas to create real change. You’ll thrive by connecting people with nature, designing meaningful engagement programmes, and influencing positive environmental action across an organisation. It’s a chance to grow your skills, shape strategy, and see the results of your work reflected in healthier landscapes, informed communities, and stronger conservation outcomes.
If you're ready to help safeguard the Island’s natural heritage, we’d love to hear from you!
