Wilder Connections

The Doddington Hall Conservation Charity (DHCC) launched the Wilder Connections project in 2024 to ensure that the unique opportunities presented by Wilder Doddington are seized and developed to maximise ecological impact, empower diverse people through nature connectedness, encourage people-powered nature recovery and inspire others to take similar steps.

The project is funded by a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund with additional support from Doddington Farms LLP, Anglian Water and The Linbury Trust.

Key activities of the project can be found on our website. In summary, the project delivers nature-related programmes for schoolchildren of all ages, students and adults. These programmes are tailored to each group and to individuals, so content varies and may include learning, awe, challenge, nature connectedness, wellbeing and fun.

The Wilder team includes around eight people working across full and part-time roles, delivering education, engagement and environmental activity across the Doddington Estate. From mid-March, Wilder activities will be based in our new education and visitor centre, the Wild House, set in the heart of Wilder Doddington.

Deadline for applications is 9am on Wednesday 11 March 2026.
