Rydym nawr yn chwilio am Swyddog Twristiaeth Gynaliadwy i ymuno â ni yn rhan-amser, gan weithio 21 awr yr wythnos dros dri diwrnod, am gontract tymor penodol o 12 mis.

Y Rôl

Fel Swyddog Twristiaeth Gynaliadwy, byddwch yn cefnogi datblygiad a chyflawniad mentrau sy'n hyrwyddo twristiaeth gyfrifol wrth amddiffyn harddwch naturiol, bywyd gwyllt a threftadaeth ddiwylliannol Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri.

Gan weithio o fewn yr Adran Partneriaethau, byddwch yn cydlynu a gweithredu polisïau, prosiectau a chamau gweithredu twristiaeth gynaliadwy o fewn y Parc Cenedlaethol, gan helpu i leihau effeithiau negyddol twristiaeth wrth wneud y mwyaf o'i fuddion.

Byddwch hefyd yn cydweithio â phartneriaid, busnesau a sefydliadau i ddatblygu atebion teithio a thrafnidiaeth cynaliadwy i ymwelwyr, nodi cyfleoedd ariannu a chefnogi cyflawni prosiectau.

Yn ogystal, byddwch yn:

  • Cydlynu ymatebion i ymgynghoriadau sy'n gysylltiedig â thwristiaeth
  • Casglu, dadansoddi a rhannu ymchwil sy'n ymwneud â thwristiaeth gynaliadwy
  • Cynrychioli'r Awdurdod ar bartneriaethau a grwpiau twristiaeth, teithio a thrafnidiaeth
  • Cefnogi datblygiad brand ac ymgyrchoedd sy'n hyrwyddo twristiaeth gyfrifol
  • Arwain datblygiad a dadansoddiad ymchwil ymwelwyr a mesurau twristiaeth gynaliadwy

About Us

Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.

We are now looking for a Sustainable Tourism Officer to join us on a part-time basis, working 21 hours per week across three days, for a 12 month fixed-term contract.

The Role

As a Sustainable Tourism Officer, you will support the development and delivery of initiatives that promote responsible tourism while protecting the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park.

Working within the Partnerships Department, you will co-ordinate and implement sustainable tourism policies, projects and actions within the National Park, helping to reduce the negative impacts of tourism while maximising its benefits.

You will also collaborate with partners, businesses and organisations to develop sustainable travel and transport solutions for visitors, identify funding opportunities and support project delivery.

Additionally, you will:

  • Co-ordinate responses to tourism-related consultations
  • Gather, analyse and share research relating to sustainable tourism
  • Represent the Authority on tourism, travel and transport partnerships and groups
  • Support brand development and campaigns promoting responsible tourism
  • Lead the development and analysis of visitor research and sustainable tourism measures

About You

To be considered as a Sustainable Tourism Officer, you will need:

  • The ability to communicate in both English and Welsh
  • Experience of developing and implementing marketing, brand or campaign messages
  • Experience of carrying out research, including gathering, analysing and reporting on data
  • Experience of managing and delivering projects effectively and efficiently
  • Knowledge and understanding of sustainable tourism
  • A degree-level qualification in a tourism-related or relevant subject, or a certified qualification in a tourism management subject, or significant relevant experience
  • A full, valid driving licence
