This is a very exciting opportunity in a very cross-organisational role, working collaboratively to lead a very high-profile project. Forestry delivers a multitude of social, environmental and economic benefits to Scotland, and ensuring that the right outcomes are incentivised effectively is key to our delivery of strategic targets.
You will be part of the Policy and Practice team and will be line managed by the Director of Policy and Practice. You will also have regular contact with the Directors of Operational Delivery and Transformation & Corporate Services, given the nature of your project.
This is a project management focused role where you will scope, initiate and drive forward the future forestry grant support project, covering the main aspects of forestry grants – laying the foundations for and defining the long-term successor to the current Forestry Grant Scheme (FGS).
Interviews will be held week commencing 27th April 2026.
