Would you like to be part of a dynamic, award-winning, local charity that helps communities to thrive?

Could you lead our sustainability programmes and partnerships across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, with a particular focus on developing community energy and nature programmes, green capacity building across VCSE networks, engagement, training and place-based action?

You will benefit from experience of managing a range of projects with cross-sector partners, overseeing and setting budgets, and a knowledge of the core sustainability challenges facing Staffordshire. However, we are more interested in your passion and energy to make a difference, as full training will be provided.

Support Staffordshire is working hard to become more inclusive of the communities we serve, and as such is especially keen to hear from applicants with protected characteristics and lived experience, that bring knowledge, skills and experience.

We welcome an informal conversation in the first instance; please contact Kate Copeland-Rhodes on 07484 413429.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to complete an Application Form and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Monitoring Form. These can be found in the link below, along with the job description and person specification.

The person appointed will require:

  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Two satisfactory references

Closing date: 9am Monday 20th April 2026
Interview date: Tuesday 28th April 2026

(Interview travel expenses can be paid on completion of an expenses claim form)
