EMEC is a growing business, with project delivery across the East Midlands and beyond. Projects range in scale from large national delivery to small scale surveys. There’ll be opportunities to work with clients that really want to make a positive impact, and you can deliver everything from PEA’s, protect species surveys to inputting on large scale strategic plans and developments.

You’ll be someone who wants to make a difference and help nature’s recovery. You’ll have a solid grasp of ecological surveying and reporting. Lots of passion is a must. In return, we ensure that our Ecologists have many opportunities to deliver a diverse range of projects, to gain experience and knowledge to develop your skills.

Let’s be honest, not all ecological consultancies are the same. We want to do the very best for nature and ALL of our profits are gift-aided to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to support conservation directly on the ground.

There will be travel required to our other sites and reserves so a full driving licence is essential. This post is subject to a Basic DBS Check.

For more information, the full role profile and to apply please visit our website. We are planning to hold interviews in w/c 11 May 2026, with a proposed start date of 1 June 2026.
