Summary

📧 We’re hiring! FarmEco Community Farm is looking for a part-time Activities Lead to help more people connect with nature through volunteering, school visits, and community events. This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys supporting people, and wants to make a real difference in our community. You’ll coordinate volunteers, welcome school groups, host corporate activity days, and help shape our year-round programme.

FarmEco is a thriving community farm where people, nature, and good food grow together. We’re looking for an Activities Lead to help more people connect with the land - through volunteering, school visits, and community events that make a real difference.

The Role

You’ll coordinate and deliver activities that bring people onto the farm and into nature:

  • Supporting and inspiring volunteers (with DBS and safeguarding in place).
  • Organising school visits, especially for children who rarely get time outdoors.
  • Hosting corporate volunteering days and members-only events.
  • Planning a year-round programme of community activities.
  • Keeping everything running smoothly - from schedules to safety checks.
  • Working closely with the FarmEco team and partners to grow participation and impact.

About You

You’ll be someone who loves working with people and the outdoors - organised, friendly, and full of initiative. Experience in community engagement, education, or volunteer coordination is ideal, but passion and commitment matter most.

Why Join FarmEco

  • Be part of a values-driven, nature-based organisation.
  • Flexible working pattern (approx. 2–3 days/week).
  • Supportive team and beautiful outdoor workspace.
  • A chance to shape and grow FarmEco’s community programmes.

Equality & Safeguarding

FarmEco welcomes applications from all backgrounds and communities.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults; all appointments are subject to appropriate checks and references.
