We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Ecologist to join our growing Ecology team.

The role therefore offers great opportunity for professional development and a clear career development path to more senior roles within the team once sufficient professional experienced has been gained.

As an employee of Sefton Council, you will enjoy the benefits of local government within an established City Region service. The Council are, where possible, operating a hybrid working model which will involve a combination of working from home and when required from a Council office site. Access to your own transport is required and the ability to work evenings and weekends is desirable.

Closing date for receipt of completed applications: 23.55hrs, Friday 26th June 2026. Interviews are anticipated to take place during the week commencing 13th July 2026.
