Library of Things Manager
Location: Easton, Bristol
Hours: Part-Time, 15 hrs per week
Location: Frenchay, Bristol
Hours: Part-Time 13hrs per week
If you’re passionate about sustainability and our local communities, love working with people and things, can find your way around a sander and a spreadsheet, and want to work part-time for a local charity, then we’ve got a really lovely job for you!
We need two new Library of Things Managers to run our existing Frenchay and new Easton site, working with the rest of our small team of staff and volunteers to make borrowing as convenient as buying. We’re after people who thrive on being busy, cannot wait to welcome people when they walk in, and approach everything with enthusiasm! (But you also need to be really organised!)
We’re looking for someone to start as soon as practical, and work around 13 hours (Frenchay) or 15 hours (Easton) per week.
Easton, BS5:
Tuesday: 4.30 - 7.15pm
Thursday: 11.30 - 2.15pm
Saturday: 2:00 - 4:45pm
Frenchay, BS16:
Tuesday: 4.30 - 7.15pm
Wednesday: 11.30 - 2.15pm
Friday: 9.30 - 12.15pm
The working hours will be mainly around when we are open for lending sessions.
We're committed to paying the Real Living Wage, so you know you will be paid fairly, and you benefit from free membership of Share Bristol, so you can borrow whatever you want, whenever you want, for free!
Closing date: 9am on Thursday 30th July 2026
Provisional interview dates: First interviews (online) w/c 3rd August 2026.
Second interviews (in person) w/c 10th August 2026.

About Share Bristol
At Share Bristol we are making it easier for everyone in Bristol to borrow or repair the things they need to live their lives – things such as tools for projects around the home and garden, kit for adventures and parties and more.
At Share Bristol our vision is that everybody shares. We want to see a network of high street community hubs – Libraries of Things – across the wider Bristol area. We opened Bristol’s first Library of Things in Kingswood in May 2021 and the second, in Bedminster, in May 2024.
The Library of Things movement is growing across the globe, helping people save money and space in their homes, helping the environment by making good use of our resources and strengthening communities.
