- Supporting the day-to-day management of South London's nature reserves, helping habitats and wildlife thrive.
- Leading practical conservation tasks and supervising volunteers, trainees, contractors and corporate groups.
- Delivering habitat restoration projects, monitoring progress and helping manage project budgets.
- Carrying out habitat, species and visitor surveys to support conservation and nature recovery goals.
- Building positive relationships with volunteers, local communities, partners and stakeholders while promoting London Wildlife Trust's work.
Our ideal Assistant Reserves Officer
- Full valid UK manual driving license (essential for role)
- Understanding of woodland and meadow management practises and techniques
- Some experience of delivering practical conservation work on nature reserves, accompanied by a good range of practical land management skills (from a paid or voluntary role)
(Please see job description for full person specification)
