Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity which will combine your farming skills and livestock experience with a knowledge and passion for nature conservation? An opportunity has arisen for a person to be based on our 400-hectare nature reserve complex around the historic Woodhall Spa (617 Squadron) airfield.
Enthusiastic, practical, flexible and highly motivated, you will undertake the day-to-day management, welfare and tasks related to our breeding herd of Lincoln Red cattle and Hebridean sheep flock alongside the regional warden.
In addition, you will work with other nature reserve staff and volunteers in livestock-related tasks and habitat management on other nature reserves in the Mid-Lincolnshire area. Despite the role being advertised as full-time, we are proud to operate a flexible working policy and encourage prospective applicants to discuss their requirements with us when applying for the role.
