This is a great time to join the Woodland Carbon Code team at Scottish Forestry and scale up nature-based solutions to the climate emergency. The code is the UK’s first globally-endorsed carbon standard.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and collaborative manager to lead the operational team of the code.
As a team leader, you will ensure effective and efficient delivery of the code. You’ll analyse risks and opportunities to drive continuous improvement of the code’s procedures.
You will work closely with project developers and forestry agencies across the UK. You will also represent the code at senior level with the code’s governance boards.
The Woodland Carbon Code team operates across the UK, with the team coming together for meetings at the National Office in Edinburgh several times a year.
