Salary £30,000-£33,000 per annum, hybrid working, Pirbright office base

Our communications are an essential tool to raise our profile, increase awareness and generate fundraising income so that we can actively work to connect nature across the county.

We're looking for a creative Content Officer to join our small but busy Communications team. Your mission is to create social media, filmed and other digital marketing material that tells interesting stories about nature recovery in Surrey - and why this matters to everyone.

The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, creative flair, excellent writing skills, a positive and collegiate approach to working with people at all levels, professional experience in delivering intelligent social media content and a working knowledge of digital marketing techniques and strategies. You'll be aware of emerging trends in communications and be able to adapt our strategy accordingly.

A passion for the natural world and an interest in wildlife are essential.

We operate a flexible working policy and aim to provide a good work/life balance whilst having an interesting and challenging working environment. Given the role involves travelling around the county, you will need to have a valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own transport.

The salary offered to successful applicants will be agreed based on qualifications and experience and will form part of a benefits package including: above minimum pension contributions, life assurance of 4 x salary, employee support scheme, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, flexible working policy.
