Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

About us
Epping Forest was purchased by the City of London in 1878, to protect it from development. It stretches from London's East End for 14 miles out into Essex and covers over 2,400 hectares with an additional 800 hectares of 'complimentary land', receiving over 10 million visits each year. Two thirds of the Forest are designated as SSSI and SAC, home to over 50,000 veteran trees, ancient pollards, over 100 ponds and lakes, two registered parks, ancient monuments, and listed buildings.
The Epping Forest Charity's purpose is to preserve the Forest in perpetuity, by the City of London Corporation as the Conservators of Epping Forest, for the recreation and enjoyment of the public. The charity has a team that numbers 100 staff, performing a wide variety of duties to maintain, enhance and protect this ancient, shared use landscape. The Forests' ancient wood pasture landscape is also managed with the help of a resident herd of 200 Longhorn cattle.

Essential skills and experience:
