Reports to: Programme Manager

About the role

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity of Project Manager (Technical). This role focuses on management of river enhancement projects, specifically improvements to fish passage, barrier removal and natural flood management.

About you

For this role, you will have a strong understanding of environmental or infrastructure project delivery, with knowledge of river restoration, fish passage, natural flood management or related disciplines. Proven experience managing contractors, permissions and regulatory processes.

You will also be:

  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, proactive and solution focused.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Confident working collaboratively with colleagues, partners, funders and communities.
  • Committed to high standards of governance, compliance and health and safety.
