Tees Rivers Trust
The Tees Rivers Trust is seeking two experienced and enthusiastic INNS Project Delivery Officers to support the delivery of the Tees Invasive Species Project (TISP).
Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, TISP is a five-year, catchment-scale project tackling invasive non-native species across the River Tees.
The project focuses on four priority species: giant hogweed, Himalayan balsam, Japanese knotweed and floating pennywort.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate practical invasive species management across the Tees Catchment.
- Support giant hogweed management, biological control trials and habitat restoration.
- Develop and maintain GIS mapping and environmental data.
- Coordinate with landowners, contractors, volunteers and partner organisations.
- Support catchment biosecurity, rapid response and project monitoring.
- Contribute to reporting, communications and sharing project learning.
Requirements
- Experience of invasive non-native species, practical conservation, habitat management or environmental project delivery.
- Strong communication, organisational and partnership-working skills.
- Experience of GIS, biological control, environmental data or contractor management is highly desirable.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
