We are delighted to announce a unique opportunity to become a residential volunteer on an island steeped in wildlife, history and archaeology. This wide-ranging practical role supports the Island Ranger deliver vital habitat management and estate maintenance on Lundy, a rugged island situated in the Bristol Channel Approaches. Gain invaluable experience immersed on a high-profile wildlife conservation reserve while enjoying the unique opportunities island life has to offer. LANTRA ATV training will be provided along with one other practical ticket upon completion of the season.

Accommodation and all meals are also provided for the duration of the role (April to October 2026). No specific qualifications or experience are necessary to apply. However, aspiring conservationists working towards a career in practical wildlife conservation will be well placed.
