Vice Chair and a Trustee to the Board
Wild Trout Trust
Do you have a passion for nature and conservation? Do you want to make a real difference for wild brown trout and the rivers they call home? We’re seeking passionate people to join our charity in two voluntary capacities: as our Vice Chair, and also as a Trustee on our Board.
The Wild Trout Trust is a small, dynamic, high-impact charity that works across the UK and Ireland. We restore the health of rivers and empower others to care for these important habitats. Our namesake, the brown trout, is a beloved wildlife icon, but also a powerful indicator of river condition and a key part of freshwater ecosystems. This means that by improving rivers for wild brown trout, we support an enormous range of other species.
With your help, we can do even more good for rivers and their wildlife. The Vice Chair and Trustee will play a crucial role at an exciting time in our charity’s development. As such, we’re looking for people who have the skills, drive, and vision to strengthen our charity’s ability to restore and champion rivers nationwide.
Applications close at 5pm on Tuesday 10th February 2026. The first round of interviews will be held online on 16th and 17th February. Further details on the roles, and information on how to apply, can be found on our site.
