- We’ll train you in: first aid, risk assessment, leadership, safeguarding & more
What we need from you:
- Enthusiasm for nature
- Willingness to learn
- Free on our midweek project days: Tuesdays and/ or Thursdays - for a minimum of 6 months to make it worthwhile
- We recommend 1 - 2 days per week
- A basic DBS check is required
What will you do?
- Practical conservation - learn how to run habitat management sessions - including traditional methods like coppicing, hedge-laying and scything.
- Work in diverse sites across Haringey: e.g. in woodland, wildflower meadow, ponds, wetlands and more.
- Optional behind the scenes tasks - site visits, planning, maintenance, marketing, social media, data entry.
