To run a range of workshops for the local community, relating to horticulture and other outdoor activities e.g. horticultural therapy, fitness, rewilding
We are looking for people with existing skills and knowledge that want the opportunity to give back to the community, as well as gaining experience in facilitating your very own workshop. You will design a plan with varied activities for all ages or specifically for a targeted group (children, young people, older adults, etc.), gather materials needed, manage a group of participants, follow-up for feedback to improve future programmes. Full training and support will be given throughout so don't worry!
Days and times are to be agreed upon but we're quite flexible and are willing to work with you.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in running your own programme and work on those leadership skills.
References and DBS checks may be required.

The Owen Smith Charitable Trust is a small charity that focuses on connecting people with nature through education and hands-on outdoor activities. Our work centers on 5 main objectives: educating the public about nature and nutrition, teaching people how to grow food, enhancing health through access to nature, creating wildlife habitats, and researching eco-friendly gardening techniques.
