Content Officer

We are Plymouth Environmental Action (PEA), a practical nature conservation volunteering organisation. We aim to involve and inspire people to conserve the natural environment within Plymouth. We are led by volunteers in a committee who plan and run events that the public can come and be a part of.

We are looking for a Creative Content Officer to join our friendly committee. We need someone who will be able to manage our social media, occasionally come to events to take photographs and assist with general committee tasks where necessary.

Responsibilities include:

• Documenting community environmental events with photos and videos.
• Checking photo consent with the public at events.
• Helping to manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) including creating adverts for upcoming events.
• Assist with keeping website and content bank of media resources up to date.

All roles are required to attend monthly committee meetings and dedicate on average one hour per week to PEA. Roles can be combined, so one person could take on several positions if they wanted to.

This will be a great opportunity for anyone to learn new skills.
