We are Plymouth Environmental Action (PEA), a practical nature conservation volunteering organisation. We aim to involve and inspire people to conserve the natural environment within Plymouth. We are led by volunteers in a committee who plan and run events that the public can come and be a part of.

We are looking for someone to join our friendly committee within the Funding Officer role. This will include managing grant applications and budgets within the organisation.

(This role could be combined with another role, meaning someone could take on this role along with another such as Conservation Leader, Treasurer, Media Officer, Secretary)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Research grant opportunities
  • Apply for grants, with assistance from the committee
  • Working with treasurer and other committee members to develop budgets for grant applications
  • Working as part of the committee to plan and develop new events

All roles are required to attend monthly committee meetings and dedicate on average one hour per week to PEA. Roles can be combined, so one person could take on several positions if they wanted to.
