Maintenance Volunteers - Grow Wilder

We’re looking for new volunteers to join us at Grow Wilder on Thursdays and/or Fridays, 9.30am–3.30pm.
Are you a practical, hands-on person who enjoys fixing things, getting stuck into projects and helping to keep a site looking its best? As a Maintenance Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in helping us look after the site’s infrastructure and supporting ongoing improvement projects.
Whether you’re experienced in DIY, have skills in a particular trade, or simply enjoy making, fixing and improving things, we’d love to hear from you.
You don’t need formal qualifications or professional maintenance experience. Practical experience through DIY, previous work or hobbies is just as valuable.

Grow Wilder is Avon Wildlife Trust’s unique urban growing hub, learning centre and wildflower nursery for Bristol. In our 6 acres site we work with organisations and community groups to maintain a wildlife friendly space to give people of all ages and backgrounds opportunities to connect with nature.
Together we engage a diverse audience through food growing, nature regeneration and conservation courses, wellbeing and crafts activities with which we deliver positive social impact.
Desirable frequency / duration: 1 or 2 days a week, Thursday and Fridays starting Autumn 2026.
